The original piece was painted with Gouache paints giving it that lovely depth and vibrancy of colour. The colours in this piece will be lovely in a baby’s nursery or bedroom. I ordered this and the Wise Owl as a gift for twins. I couldn’t be happier with the quality. The artwork has a vibrant colour and the frames are very high quality. I loved that the boxes were beautifully decorated and had the baby’s name beautifully written, meaning I didn’t have to worry about wrapping etc.
